Curanto al Hoyo, Chiloé

Have you heard of Curanto al Hoyo? It's the typical dish of Chiloé cooked over hot stones. Join us as we head to a restaurant in Ancud to help prepare the Curanto. We start early in the morning to have everything ready to be roasted by noon. Once the stones are hot enough, we cover them with ingredients such as seafood, pork, chorizo, potatoes, chicken, and two types of potato bread. The aroma is irresistible as the ingredients slowly cook over the stones. The flavors blend perfectly, creating a mouth-watering dish.
