Cancellation policies

Learn about the refund conditions that apply to each type of service. Your booking is always protected.

At WildTrip we understand that plans can change. That is why we offer different cancellation policies so that each service provider can choose the one that best fits their operation. The selected policy will determine the refund percentage the user receives if they cancel their booking, which varies depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made relative to the service date.

The refund percentage is calculated based on how far in advance you cancel relative to the service start date. Timeframes are measured in hours before the scheduled time.

Accommodations

Strict - Accommodation

Designed for accommodations with high demand or limited capacity, where a late cancellation generates a significant impact on operations. It allows for a partial refund only when the cancellation is made well in advance, prioritizing the security of the provider.

  • More than 7d before50% reembolso. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive 50% of the amount paid as a refund.
  • Less than 7d beforeNo reembolso. Cancellations within this timeframe are not eligible for a refund.

Flexible - Accommodation

Designed for accommodations that want to offer travelers the greatest confidence when booking. It provides ample room to cancel without cost and includes a partial refund for last-minute cancellations, making it the most attractive option for those seeking flexibility.

  • More than 1d before100% reembolso. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
  • Between 6h and 1d before50% reembolso. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive 50% of the amount paid as a refund.
  • Less than 6h beforeNo reembolso. Cancellations within this timeframe are not eligible for a refund.

Moderate - Accommodation

Balances provider protection with traveler peace of mind. Offers a reasonable period for free cancellation, a partial refund tier, and restricts cancellations very close to the service date, suitable for accommodations with moderate operational preparation costs.

  • More than 3d before100% reembolso. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
  • Between 1d and 3d before50% reembolso. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive 50% of the amount paid as a refund.
  • Less than 1d beforeNo reembolso. Cancellations within this timeframe are not eligible for a refund.

Experiences

Basic - Experience

Designed for experiences that do not require early logistical costs or significant prior preparation. It allows users to book with greater confidence by offering a wide margin of days for free cancellation, making the service listing more attractive.

  • More than 3d before100% reembolso. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
  • Less than 3d beforeNo reembolso. Cancellations within this timeframe are not eligible for a refund.

Non-refundable

Applicable to experiences with on-demand capacity, where the provider reserves specific logistics for each booking once payment is confirmed. Since resources are committed immediately, this policy does not include refunds in case of user cancellation.

Normal - Experience

Designed for experience providers who incur logistical costs prior to service delivery, such as food, transportation, entrance fees, accommodation reservations, or other complementary supplies. It offers different refund tiers based on the cancellation notice, protecting both the provider and the traveler.

  • More than 15d before100% reembolso. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
  • Between 7d and 15d before60% reembolso. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive 60% of the amount paid as a refund.
  • Between 3d and 7d before30% reembolso. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive 30% of the amount paid as a refund.
  • Less than 3d beforeNo reembolso. Cancellations within this timeframe are not eligible for a refund.

Extended - Experience

Aimed at experiences that require significant preparation well in advance, where operational costs are committed early. It offers an extensive period for free cancellation, an intermediate period for partial refund, and restricts cancellations close to the service date.

  • More than 30d before100% reembolso. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
  • Between 15d and 30d before50% reembolso. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive 50% of the amount paid as a refund.
  • Less than 15d beforeNo reembolso. Cancellations within this timeframe are not eligible for a refund.

Regardless of the refund percentage applied, WildTrip will retain its commission for platform operation services. This commission is calculated on the amount returned to the service provider —not on the total booking value— and corresponds to the cancellation policy selected by the business when publishing its services on the WildTrip administration portal.
