Lake Caburgua Journey
Lake Caburgua is located in the communes of Pucón and Cunco, Araucanía Region, and is distinguished among the country's lakes by its crystal-clear waters. The lake gets its name from the Mapudungun word Kafürwe, "Wooden Spoon," with a surface area of 53 km² and a depth of 327 meters. The temperature of this lake varies by about 6 °C more than neighboring lakes in the area, possibly due to thermal currents in its depths. The first inhabitants were the Pehuenches, a subdivision of the Mapuche people who inhabited the region's forests between the Pacific Ocean and the Argentine pampas. On this journey, we will explore various hidden beaches along the lake's shores, which gleam with beauty as the sun reflects on their crystalline waters. Languages: Spanish, English

Full Day Kayak Journey
We start at our base where we'll welcome you, then we'll head to Lake Caburgua, specifically to the end of Playa Negra (Black Beach) where we'll access the lake. From there, we'll travel about 5 kilometers until we reach some hidden white sand beaches with little human contact. You'll have 1 and a half hours free to enjoy the sun and a pleasant snack. But save your energy, as you'll have to paddle another 5 kilometers back to Playa Negra to finish the activity.
