This experience begins in the town of Putre, Parinacota province. Suriplaza is on private land belonging to the Aymara succession "Ayllu Alave", General Lagos commune. Each traveler pays an agreed-upon entrance fee, included by our agency Trekking Aymara and the community, making the activity more sustainable. By transport, we skirt the route along the slopes of the Taapaca volcano, reaching the base camp at about 4,700 masl in the colored mountains. We undertake a mountain trek of approximately 3 to 4 hours, at a gentle pace, with a 500-meter elevation gain, returning to base camp in 1 hour. You will gain a sense of peace, surrounded by nature and a connection with the local flora and fauna. Optional: on the return, visit the Jurasi hot springs. Languages: Spanish

Trekking Colored Mountains "Suriplaza 5,300 masl"
Departing from the town of Putre, we will begin the journey along the slopes of the Taapaca volcano, known as the “Nevados de Putre” (Snow-capped Peaks of Putre). We will make a panoramic viewpoint stop at 4,800 masl, crossing the Allane gorge towards the village of Colpitas. The Tacora Volcano and Chupiquiña Volcano can be spotted. Along the route, it is possible to observe llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas, as well as some birds like the Andean goose, ducks, and condors. Trekking of 3 to 4 hours, with a 500-meter elevation gain.

Todos los días a las 07:00 am desde el terminal de buses de la ciudad de Arica puede acceder a la precordillera de la comuna de Putre, ciudad de Putre, en un bus rural "La Paloma". También coordinamos para pasar a buscar a la ciudad de Arica con un costo adicional, Por otra parte, una vez llegado al pueblo de Putre, nuestro transporte turístico los pasan a buscar al hospeda u hotel de pernoctación de Putre. If the traveler wishes to visit and bathe in the Jurasi hot springs, we can do so, as it is close to the town of Putre, perfect for ending the day after the mountain trek. It is important that the traveler must pay their entrance ticket to the Jurasi hot springs separately, valued at $4,000 pesos per person.
