Day prior to the activity:
- Confirmation of weather conditions and departure time. - Coordination of the meeting point at the Nautical Center or caravan to the starting location.

Day of the activity:
Start time: Generally in the morning or afternoon, subject to weather conditions. Starting point: Hanga ROA or Tai Cove.

Itinerary:
1. Meeting for a technical talk, equipment delivery, and orientation. 2. Start of the route along the coast towards Motu Tautara, passing unique volcanic formations. 3. Stop at a strategic point to explore the small bays located along the route. 4. Observation of marine fauna and local birds such as the makohe (frigate), the kena, fish, turtles, and even whales depending on the seasonal period. 5. Return to the starting point.

Kayak, paddle, spray skirt, life vest, optional snorkel, and certified guide.

Yes, islets, bays of historical and spiritual importance, such as Ahu Tahai, volcanic caves, and the entire coast of Hanga ROA are explored.
What should I bring?
Sunscreen, cap, comfortable clothing, water bottle, and a snack without plastic packaging.
Is there a minimum age?
12 years old, accompanied by an adult.
What happens if the weather is not favorable?
We will reschedule the activity or offer alternatives.
Is snorkeling done?
This route does not include guided snorkeling, as the journey demands considerable physical effort. However, during the trip, we can take a brief dip in a safe and special place, where the guide can provide a diving mask to appreciate the marine life and seabed.
