  1. Day prior to the activity:

    - Confirmation of weather conditions and departure time. - Coordination of the meeting point at the Nautical Center or caravan to the starting location.

  2. Day of the activity:

    Start time: Generally in the morning or afternoon, subject to weather conditions. Starting point: Hanga ROA or Tai Cove.

  3. Itinerary:

    1. Meeting for a technical talk, equipment delivery, and orientation. 2. Start of the route along the coast towards Motu Tautara, passing unique volcanic formations. 3. Stop at a strategic point to explore the small bays located along the route. 4. Observation of marine fauna and local birds such as the makohe (frigate), the kena, fish, turtles, and even whales depending on the seasonal period. 5. Return to the starting point.
