Torres del Avellano
This adventure begins in the town of Bahía Murta, with a horseback ride with pack animals as the old cowboys used to do. We will advance towards the north side of the town, ascending the plateau; this plain invites you to admire the landscape from above. From here you can appreciate the imposing Lake General Carrera, and as we advance, we will have an incredible view of the Murta Valley. Following the trail, we will enter an untouched ancient forest, which will lead us to the post where we will set up camp. On the second day, we will begin the trek that will take us to the granitic ridge of Avellano, formed by impressive towers that rise above the glacial surface. On the third day, we will return from our journey. Languages: English, Spanish

Itinerary | 3 days
Day 1 Morning: Preparation of pack animals, induction talk for the horseback ride and horse assignment. Horseback Ride: 5 to 6 hours to the base camp. Camp: Camp setup, bonfire, and preparation of the "palomita". Day 2 Morning: Early breakfast and preparation for the trek. Ascent: 3-4 hour ascent to Torres del Avellano. Enjoyment: Free time to enjoy the views, take photos, and explore the area. Descent: 2-3 hour descent to the base camp.
