Beekeepers for a Day
Offered by
Ekapiurbana
Come and learn about bees in a unique experience. I invite you to join my conservation and preservation project for Apis mellifera and learn more about the fascinating world of honey bees in the city of Santiago, specifically in the Aguas de San Ramón sclerophyllous park. In the "Beekeepers for a Day" experience, you will learn about the history of beekeeping, urban ecosystems, and the foothills of Santiago. You will taste raw, KM0 honeys and get to know the bees in a unique way! Wearing a beekeeping suit, you will be able to extract a frame of honey bees and observe their life inside the hive. If you're lucky, you might even spot the queen. Languages: Spanish
