The Sollipulli Volcano trail, located in the commune of Melipeuco, will take you to explore one of the most fascinating destinations in the Andean Araucanía. Come and discover the volcano with the largest crater in South America and the enormous glacier inside the crater. Plus the incredible forests of Araucaria, Coihue trees, and lava fields. At the summit of Sollipulli Volcano, you will reach an altitude of 2,240 meters above sea level, where the view will reward you with an unparalleled panorama. From here you can contemplate a large number of volcanoes, among them the majestic Llaima Volcano and the imposing Lonquimay Volcano. In addition to a spectacular landscape of hills, valleys, and forests that frame this natural treasure.
