Day 2 — Day 2

  1. Day 2

After arriving at the Ecolodge to prepare our trekking equipment and enjoy some coffee, we will be transported to the Río Róbalo water intake, where we will begin the circuit around 9:30 AM. First, we will cross the forest, ascending up to 600 meters above sea level until reaching the summit, where a large Chilean flag waves and we can enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the city, the Beagle Channel, and Tierra del Fuego. Then we continue skirting the forest until Laguna el Salto.

Day 3 — Day 3

  1. Day 3

After breakfast and dismantling the camp, we begin our trek at 10 AM. We resume the trail to reach Australia Pass, circling the Dientes de Navarino massif, where we will take a lunch break (box lunch). In this part, you can appreciate the south of the Island and the Wollaston Islands north of the Cape Horn archipelago. An intense moment observing the 'end of the world'. We continue walking until we reach the camping area at Laguna de los Dientes or Escondida.

Day 4 — Day 4

  1. Day 4

Breakfast at 8:00 AM and camp dismantling to start walking at 10:00 AM. The path will lead us through a fairytale landscape, beautiful lagoons, and forests with the Dientes massif in the background. We will continue until reaching Ventarrón Pass and Guerrico Pass, ascending up to 700 meters above sea level, approaching the beautiful Guerrico Valley. We will have a snack at 1:00 PM and then continue our route to our suitable camping site between Laguna Martillo and Laguna Zeta.

Breakfast at 8:00 AM and camp dismantling to begin our trek at 10:00 AM. We descend, skirting the beautiful Laguna Guanaco, following the path to where the forest begins for a snack around 1:00 PM. We continue the descent until reaching near Mac Lean fish farm, an abandoned building next to the main road less than 2 km from the Ecolodge, to finally arrive at the refuge around 6:00 PM, to rest and share a farewell 'asado al palo' dinner.
