We are an inbound tourism agency in Puerto Natales, the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park. We offer personalized excursions to the main attractions of Chilean Patagonia: Torres del Paine, Grey Glacier, Mylodon Cave, and Argentinian Patagonia: Calafate, Chalten. Iconic hike in Torres del Paine to the Base of the Towers viewpoint. An 18 km round trip with views of glacial lakes, lenga forests, and the granite massif. Medium-high difficulty, ideal for adventurers with good physical condition. Includes transportation from Puerto Natales or from your accommodation/hotel, a specialized guide, and safety equipment. Total duration 10-12 hours. Season October-April, subject to weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Good physical condition, ability to walk 18 km on uneven terrain. Minimum age 12 years. Not recommended for people with heart, respiratory, or mobility problems. Previous trekking experience desirable but not mandatory.

Rules

  • Respect the established start times.
  • No smoking during the activity.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Always follow the guide's instructions.
  • Do not leave marked trails.
  • Bring all indicated equipment.
  • In case of extreme weather conditions, the guide may suspend or modify the route for safety.

Designed for experience providers who incur logistical costs prior to service delivery, such as food, transportation, entrance fees, accommodation reservations, or other complementary supplies. It offers different refund tiers based on the cancellation notice, protecting both the provider and the traveler.

  • More than 15d before100% refund. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

Frequently asked questions

1. What level of physical fitness do I need?

This is a medium-high difficulty trek, 18 km long and lasting 10-12 hours. We recommend prior training with 4-6 hour hikes and elevation gain, especially if you are not accustomed to long trekking days.

2. What is the minimum age required?

The minimum age is 12 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult and have signed authorization.

3. In which months is it available?

Available all year round, but from April to July the trail may be closed due to extreme weather conditions (snow, ice, wind).

4. What should I bring?

Layered clothing (changing weather), trekking shoes with good grip, SPF 50+ sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and gloves. Don't forget water (minimum 2 liters) and energy snacks.

5. Does the price include park entrance?

It does not include the entrance fee to Torres del Paine National Park. You must purchase it separately in advance on the official CONAF website.

6. Is lunch included?

Lunch is not included. We recommend bringing a lunch box or sandwich. There are no food services during the trek.

7. What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?

The trek will proceed with rain or wind if conditions are safe. It will only be suspended due to severe weather alerts or park closure. In such a case, rescheduling or a refund will be coordinated according to our cancellation policy.

8. How many people are in each group?

Groups of maximum 12-15 people

9. Can I cancel or reschedule?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours in advance. Rescheduling subject to availability.

10. Is transportation from Puerto Natales included?

Yes, we include transportation from Puerto Natales or from your accommodation/hotel in the area. Please indicate your pickup point when booking.
