One of the most iconic trails in the commune, passing through a renewed forest of radal trees and some adult coihues that survived the colonization fires. We will be able to see different species of flora, fauna, and funga, depending on the time of year. Suitable for people between 18 and 60 years old (depending on their physical and mental capacities). Trail duration: varies between 2 hours 30 min and 4 hours approximately. Distance: 2.3 km. Elevation gain: 200 m approx. Maximum altitude: 590 m approx. Low difficulty level, though intense due to the constant ascent. Minimum 2 participants. Maximum 6 participants. Languages: Spanish, English

How to get there
Son 390km desde Puerto Montt, pero no hay un tramo directo por tierra, por lo que debes considerar los tiempos que te tomarán las barcazas. •Naviera Austral: es un viaje directo en barcaza desde Puerto Montt a Chaitén con una duración de 10 hrs. Aprox. Puedes viajar con o sin vehículo. •Ruta bimodal: Es una ruta que combina tramos de barcaza y tierra, con una duración de 10hrs. Hasta Chaitén. Puedes viajar en bus (buses Kemel) o en vehículo (somarco) •Avión: Desde Puerto Montt, en el aeródromo La Paloma, hay empresas que pueden llevarte hasta Chaitén en 40min. Aprox. Todos los días desde Chaitén a Futaleufú 12:00 PM y 16:30 PM (Costanera) Todos los días desde Futaleufú a Chaitén 6:00 AM Y 11:00 AM (Terminal municipal)
