This full-day trek crosses the Kings mountain range, formed by glaciers and thaws, which can take between 5 to 8 hours, depending on the pace and the variety of biodiversity we can identify along the way. Suitable for people between 18 and 60 years old (depending on their physical and mental capacities). We will cross a pass between the rural sectors of Río chico and Las escalas, delving into Chile's native forest, with species such as Coihue and ancient Lengas, a variety of birds and macro-fungi, as well as tracks of foxes and pumas that cohabit this place. Medium difficulty, maximum altitude 1100 masl, distance approximately 8 km. Minimum 3 participants. Maximum 6 participants. Languages: Spanish, English

How to get there
Son 390km desde Puerto Montt, pero no hay un tramo directo por tierra, por lo que debes considerar los tiempos que te tomarán las barcazas. •Naviera Austral: es un viaje directo en barcaza desde Puerto Montt a Chaitén con una duración de 10 hrs. Aprox. Puedes viajar con o sin vehículo. •Ruta bimodal: Es una ruta que combina tramos de barcaza y tierra, con una duración de 10hrs. Hasta Chaitén. Puedes viajar en bus (buses Kemel) o en vehículo (somarco) •Avión: Desde Puerto Montt, en el aeródromo La Paloma, hay empresas que pueden llevarte hasta Chaitén en 40min. Aprox. Todos los días desde Chaitén a Futaleufú 12:00 PM y 16:30 PM (Costanera) Todos los días desde Futaleufú a Chaitén 6:00 AM Y 11:00 AM (Terminal municipal)
